Between Jan 1, 2000 and July 1, 2000 I sent Anthony 10 letters, giving him updates on Sarah, sending pics, etc.

In this 11th letter, dated July 25th, I did more of the same but added something, something Sarah said to me. I wrote, “She said something to me about 3 weeks ago that totally freaked me out. She made a comment about my “first marriage”! I almost died. I know WE (you and I) were not married, but she obviously has SOME idea about it. I think it comes from the fact that when I take her to the doctors, they call her by her LEGAL name, (Sarah R) instead of of Sarah D (my husbands last name), and even though I HOPE she does not catch on, I think, NOW more than ever, that she is starting to put 2 and 2 together, you know? Well, I knew that the time would come for me to tell her about you, so I am thinking more and more how to approach the subject.”

While I wonder if he will respond, I seriously doubt he will. We shall see.

I emailed N at 5pm, to let him know that he had mail arrive at our home.

“Hey N, wouldn’t you know it, I get home from doing errands (one was to the Post office to send L’s stuff) to find a letter for you in the mail that is from “Kasey C” who lives on “C lane.” WOW! How often does THAT happen! Same spelling!

Anyway, your dad will send it out tomorrow, ok? Just wanted to telly ou.

I emailed the kids my niece’s information, her last name, and email to N & L.

I ended it with, “adios amigos, STAY FOCUSED ‘…we all dream a lot…some are lucky some are not, BUT if you think it, want it, dream it, then it is real… Patricia”
