If there was a biography about me, the title would be SURVIVED.

What were your parents doing at your age?
My mom was dancing in Heaven with the Angels and had been since I was 4.
My step mom was a SAHP.
My dad was a retired Deputy Sheriff after 30+ years. He was hanging out in his man-cave (the garage) where he has his train set up and all his model airplanes.

What are your favorite sports to watch and play?
I’m using the prompt today because it’s been a minute since I’ve written anything!

To answer this prompt, my favorite sports to watch is College football, and college softball. For Football, my teams are UCLA Bruins and Tennessee Vols.
I’m not the type of person who gets into all the stats of the players or the teams. I just believe that College football is way more exciting than Pro ball.
I love college softball. I have a hard time finding it on tv, but I love softball.
I played softball as a kid, and got as far as playing on an All Stars team. I had the best time.
I haven’t played softball as an adult. I think it would be fun, but also a little challenging because of an arthritic knee, but I still have a lot of LOVE for the game and hope my granddaughter, when she gets old enough, will play as well.

Writing Prompt Question
If you could permanently ban a word from general usage, which one would it be? Why?
The N word, I’m sure I don’t have to explain which one- but I will say it’s the one that MANY youth call each other, boys and girls.
It’s a derogatory word and just not nice.
My Younger Self
I would tell my teenage self to stay focused, go on to college and get that broadcasting job you want! I’ll support you in achieving that goal, and I LOVE YOU!

What do you complain about the most?
What I complain about the most is people only at work for a PAYCHECK and don’t care about their job.
It frustrates me to no end knowing that this “work ethic” that some people have is accepted by the powers that be.
It actually irritates the FUCK out of me.
Another thing I (silently) complain about is when people don’t take responsibility for their actions, or lack of actions, and then wonder why they aren’t getting what they think they deserve, should be getting or legally entitled to get.

Describe a man who has positively impacted your life.
My late husband was one and my fiancé is another.
My late husband because I was at my happiest and felt my best when we were married. We got along so well, and he was just a mellow, sweet man, 99% of the time. We made a good team.
My fiance has shown me different ways to look at things, he’s shown me how to just listen and observe, not everyone needs to know what I know.

When are you most happy?
I am most happy when my adult kids are home safe, when I spend quality time with my Love, when I am home by myself doing what I want or need to do without any interruptions ☺️.

How have your political views changed over time?
I don’t like talking politics because it seems people just can’t have a conversation of differing opinions without the name calling or someone getting angry.
I have political views and opinions, but hardly ever share them for those reasons.
Have they changed- maybe in some cases, very few cases.
