Between Jan 1, 2000 and July 1, 2000 I sent Anthony 10 letters, giving him updates on Sarah, sending pics, etc.
In this 11th letter, dated July 25th, I did more of the same but added something, something Sarah said to me. I wrote, “She said something to me about 3 weeks ago that totally freaked me out. She made a comment about my “first marriage”! I almost died. I know WE (you and I) were not married, but she obviously has SOME idea about it. I think it comes from the fact that when I take her to the doctors, they call her by her LEGAL name, (Sarah R) instead of of Sarah D (my husbands last name), and even though I HOPE she does not catch on, I think, NOW more than ever, that she is starting to put 2 and 2 together, you know? Well, I knew that the time would come for me to tell her about you, so I am thinking more and more how to approach the subject.”
While I wonder if he will respond, I seriously doubt he will. We shall see.
