Earlier this afternoon, actually at 16:52, I sent my daughter’s aunt a text message. I wrote, “Hi S, this is Patty. Hope you are well. I’ve been wondering, did Anthony ever divorce Coleen? Last I spoke to her, she told me she didn’t believe they were divorced because she was never served divorce papers and she said she had sent him her address. Just wondering. “
His sister replied at 22:04- “I really don’t know and don’t care. Anthony made many mistakes but the bottom like is, he turned over a new leaf and lead the rest 20 years or so in a good and honarable life which is what counts. He did not make good choices in women. Coleen was an evil woman.”
I responded at 22:23 ” Just wondered how it would affect any inheritance related to the kids, since she would be “next of kin” if they weren’t divorced. Ok, thanks for your time, Take care. “
I wasn’t expecting a response, it was late and this Aunt is about about 84 yrs old, but 5 minutes later she sent a text, “You guys would have to get a lawyer to figure it all out. Anthony told me that a lawyer friend of his helped him to be able to divorce Coleen. I don’t know anymore details that what Anthony told me. My mom’s living trust wanted that house to go to Anthony’s 3 kids. That’s set in stone. ”
That was the last communication I had with her.
