Welcome~ Enter At Your Own Risk~ I Couldn't Make Some of This Stuff Up~ My Experience in Dealing With A High Conflict Baby Mama, Parental Alienation and Just Trying To Get Through This Thing Called Life~
Author: Patricia
Hi! I'm a Mom to two great kids, well adults, but you know, our kids are always our babies 🥰🥰 I’m also “Nana” to a beautiful baby girl, as well as to my Grandpup, Peace. She's a Belgian Malinois who is full of "piss and vinegar" if you know what I mean, LOL but she grew on me and she's a sweet girl with A LOT of personality. My Love and I have been together since 2007. I met him through my late husband. I was married for 9.5 years when my husband died suddenly and unexpectedly. We were together for a total of 11.5 years. We loved each other for the rest of HIS life. #GoneButNEVERForgotten I also started writing this blog, because HIS story needs to be told. His story of experiencing Parental Alienation and the Damage it did to him and his kids. It didn't just happen to him and his kids, but as anyone knows, PA has a trickle down effect. His older kids have nothing to do with our children, because of what their mother has told them about me. It's very sad. I will also provide links to articles I've read about PA and all that goes with it, in hopes of helping others.
What tattoo do you want and where would you put it?
If I were to get a tattoo, I would get a beautifully done Calla Lily as it was both my mom’s and husband’s favorite flower, one of them at least. The other flower my husband loved was a sunflower, and the other for my mother was carnations. I also think of getting a calla lily and a sunflower, then maybe sprinkle carnation petals around it.
Decisions, decisions. 🙂
My mom passed away when I was 4 and my husband passed away 20 years ago in November 2025.
I am a type two diabetic and they don’t look fondly on tattoos, so I’m a little bit not sure still if I should get one.
It was a bit backhanded but I took it anyway. Since I was a young, I wanted to get into radio broadcasting, aka a DJ. I was a fan girl of several LA DJ’s and got autographed pictures of them. I didn’t have the support I wanted from my dad or stepmom, so I didn’t fulfill this dream, however, as an adult working at an answering service in my 20’s, a customer told me, “You give good phone, you should be on the radio.” I was embarrassed, but appreciated the compliment. 🙂
You’re writing your autobiography. What’s your opening sentence?
Growing up, on the outside seemed idyllic, you know, playing with neighborhood friends, riding our bikes all over, playing Kick the Can in the street, tag, kickball, dodgeball, the all American apple pie stuff, until the street lights came on, or we heard our Dad’s distinct whistle letting us know it was time to get our asses home.
As a child, this resonates with me. I would love to give my WAY younger self a hug and tell my younger self, “I love you and I believe in you.” 💚💚
You get to build your perfect space for reading and writing. What’s it like?
My perfect space would be like a little nook in my room, or add on to the house. I don’t really know what total silence is anymore, but to have a killer nook carved out, with a coffee pot close by would be just perfect to me!
Do you play in your daily life? What says “playtime” to you?
I have been up since 5:15am. I’m exhausted right now, but my play comes babysitting my granddaughter the past two weeks. She cracks me up and we just have a good time.
If I go to my room, sometimes I’ll just chill and rest or I’ll scroll, or I’ll watch tv while I clean my room, or just do whatever I want to, or not. I got 3 books for Christmas and I really want to start reading them.
It’s been raining so I haven’t really gone outside to do what I need to, but that time is coming.
Good evening everyone! I hope you all have had an AMAZING day and recuperated nicely from NY Eve!
I stayed in with my kids and granddaughter. My son in law had to work yesterday as did my son, and my son also had to work today. Thank God tomorrow is Friday and he is off on the weekend.
I cooked today. I made fried wontons using my daughter’s air fryer for the first time. I was impressed! I also made a sausage puff pastry as it is a family favorite since I made it the first time last year I believe. Here is the recipe if you ever want to try it! It’s really delicious!!
and the other one is a vegan Mac n cheese because my son in law is lactose intolerant.
So it was a feast- ful day, it just so dang long to get it all done.
Of course I had to take time out to babysit my granddaughter, who is such a joy and light of my life, she’s so funny! At 18 months, her personality is showing and I believe she is quite the Gemini! LOL or maybe it’s just that she’s heading into her two’s…. You know what I’m saying?! LOL
What did you all do today?
I really just wanted to hop on and wish you all a very prosperous new year, full of the many blessings that are waiting for YOU! Do any of you make resolutions? Share if you wish, I understand if you don’t want to. ❤️
