Welcome~ Enter At Your Own Risk~ I Couldn't Make Some of This Stuff Up~ My Experience in Dealing With A High Conflict Baby Mama, Parental Alienation and Just Trying To Get Through This Thing Called Life~
Author: Patricia
Hi! I'm a Mom to two great kids, well adults, but you know, our kids are always our babies š„°š„° Iām also āNanaā to a beautiful baby girl, as well as to my Grandpup, Peace. She's a Belgian Malinois who is full of "piss and vinegar" if you know what I mean, LOL but she grew on me and she's a sweet girl with A LOT of personality. My Love and I have been together since 2007. I met him through my late husband. I was married for 9.5 years when my husband died suddenly and unexpectedly. We were together for a total of 11.5 years. We loved each other for the rest of HIS life. #GoneButNEVERForgotten I also started writing this blog, because HIS story needs to be told. His story of experiencing Parental Alienation and the Damage it did to him and his kids. It didn't just happen to him and his kids, but as anyone knows, PA has a trickle down effect. His older kids have nothing to do with our children, because of what their mother has told them about me. It's very sad. I will also provide links to articles I've read about PA and all that goes with it, in hopes of helping others.
My mom was dancing in Heaven with the Angels and had been since I was 4.
My step mom was a SAHP.
My dad was a retired Deputy Sheriff after 30+ years. He was hanging out in his man-cave (the garage) where he has his train set up and all his model airplanes.
My Friday and it is a LONG weekend! 4 days, actually! I have 2.25 hours left and I can hardly wait! I even drove myself in this morning, instead of riding the school bus, so that was good to sleep in for a little bit.
I have plans, but nothing amazing- cleaning out my garage, LOL. Thatās one thing. The rest of the days, nothing is planned, and thatās alright too. š
Today, many, MANY students from the high school that I work at along with adults (I believe some admin) are meeting up with our cross town rivals and quite possibly another high school, at our City Hall in protest against Trumpās ending birthright citizenship and deportation.
It seemed like there were more than 400 students participating. Of course, there were those students that decided it was their chance to get out of school early, and immediately went left instead of right and participating. Some were caught and were told something by admin, but I think some got away with it.
THAT bugs me. It was no surprise, but to see all the students walking off campus together and hearing the horns honking in support was just amazing! The students that set it up were all really informative and did a great job. They posted their intentions on Social Media and to see it live really got to me. I shed a couple tears.
As I write this, I got a pop up on the Citizenās app about an incident at City hall and I see all the kids arriving, to a LOT of cheering and support!
It is hard to believe that it will be 2 years this July since my daughterās biological father passed away.
Whatās even more crazy is that there hasnāt been any movement on the house the kids inherited. Itās pretty maddening, actually. I feel for them.
My daughter has an aunt who is commandeering the whole thing, and this particular aunt was very upset with her brother prior to his passing and she doesnāt even like my daughter, whom she hasnāt really ever met. At the āCelebration of Lifeā for Anthony, my daughter and son bth told me that this aunt ignored my daughter.
Since Anthonyās passing, my daughter has had boots on the ground trying to get this probate stuff going, only to be met with blocks. I again told my daughter that I feel she needs to talk to someone and have them represent her because I believe this Aunt does not have her best interest in mind.
We know a few people, who know probate attorneyās so now hopefully my daughter will make an appointment with one of them and get this ball rolling on her own for her own interest.
I know Probate takes a long time, but it shouldnāt be talking THIS long to just hire someone to start the process.
Iām using the prompt today because itās been a minute since Iāve written anything!
How yāall doing? Good I hope!
To answer this prompt, my favorite sports to watch is College football, and college softball. For Football, my teams are UCLA Bruins and Tennessee Vols.
Iām not the type of person who gets into all the stats of the players or the teams. I just believe that College football is way more exciting than Pro ball.
I love college softball. I have a hard time finding it on tv, but I love softball.
I played softball as a kid, and got as far as playing on an All Stars team. I had the best time.
I havenāt played softball as an adult. I think it would be fun, but also a little challenging because of an arthritic knee, but I still have a lot of LOVE for the game and hope my granddaughter, when she gets old enough, will play as well.
Thanksgiving came and went- while up to was quite stressful, for a few reasons I wonāt go into, the day OF was great!!
My granddaughters paternal side of the family was here and present and it was AMAZING!! My granddaughter FINALLY met her 93 year old great grandmother! We nicknamed her āMama OG.ā She LOVED it! When she met her great granddaughter, she laughed and cried and kept calling her ālittle Noellaā because her Daddyās name is Noel and she looks JUST LIKE him š„°. I got emotional just watching her go crazy over Mikhayla, clapping, laughing and crying, so of course, I started to get teary eyed, LOL. Our house was full of love, laughter, and great food!
The next day was the 19th anniversary of Keithās passing. I wrote on my Facebook wall this status: ā
Thanksgiving 2005 was on 11/24. 5 days later, Keith was gone, suddenly and unexpectedly. Most of you know the story Iāve posted/shared for several years. This year, Iāll share this: this little girl- Keith would have been so in love with her. TBH, sometimes the way she stares at me, like sheās looking into my soul, itās like sheās telling me that her Papa is there. At times she stares at his and my momās pictures on the wall, like she recognizes them. When we saw she has an Angels Kiss on her eye, I said āyep, kissed by her Papa and Great Grandma.ā I talk with her about her Papa and Great Grandma, though my memories of her Great Grandma Ellie are very limited ā¤ļø
So come every 11/29, I was always be especially thankful for this beautiful baby girl sent from her Papa, watching over us ā¤ļøā
Yesterday, my daughter and her love took Mikhayla to the doctors. Baby girl had a runny nose and was sneezing. Turns out, she just has a baby cold, and was advised to buy a humidifier. Baby girl weighed in at 15 pounds and is 22 inches long.
The kids went to Target to get the humidifier, and my daughter sent my son and I this picture:
USPS TRUCK
How adorable is that?! You know, or maybe you donāt, but I do believe in signs. All day there were songs and videos that reminded me of Keith and now THIS? Keith was a mailman, so of course, I asked my son if he wanted to go halfsies with me to get it and he said Yes. In our group text, my daughter joked that even though it says 3-5 yrs old, they can teach their daughter how to drive it at 1, LOL, PLUS, theyāve never seen it before at Target during Christmas.
So without telling my daughter, my son and I bought it and had it delivered the same day. I did have to tell my son in law, because it was to be delivered between 9 and 10 pm and I didnāt think we were going to be home. FORTUNATELY, we were, my son met the delivery person outside the. Brought it in.
Whatās funny as we found out later, my son in law told my daughter, āsomeone will buy it.ā He just didnāt know it was going to be me and Thomas, LOL. There were a few at the store when I placed the order, but when the shopper got to Target, she said there was only one left and the box was a little damaged. I told her to get it anyway and I would call Target in the morning if I needed to.
My son told my daughter that she had mail she needed to look at, trying to lure her to the front room. Instead, she said, āoh, I know, Iāll check it out later.ā LOL
My daughter, Sarah, asked Noel if he wanted her to make the babyās bottle. He said heāll get it and asked her to get something behind the dogs crate.
She walked out to the front room and was shocked! āWhat? Where did this come from? How did this happen??!ā And started to cry, tears of joy of course. We then had to leave to go to the movies.
My kids and I went to see the movie, WICKED. I LOVED IT! I laughed, cried and cheered, and I look forward to seeing part 2 in 2025!!
All in all, it was a great end of November. ā¤ļø
Now, December 1st. I have two full weeks of work, and one week of finals then Winter break for two weeks.
I will write more later today, after the day really starts.
I hope you all are doing well, and had a very relaxing and enjoyable Thanksgiving.
In about 50 minutes, I start my Thanksgiving break. I was speaking with someone today and was saying that for 19 years, holidays were missing something.
I loved spending time with my family, but ever since Keith died, they were never the same.
THIS year though, Iām happier and I think it has everything to do with my granddaughter being born. She will be 6 months this weekend, and even though sheās teething and cries, itās just such a blessing sheās in our lives!
Today at work we had our staff-giving. I brought dessert consisting of. 2 ingredient lemon bars (Mix lemon pie filling and Angel Food cake mix together. The Angel food cake mix is the ājust add waterā kind. I also made brownie chocolate chip cookies, using brownie mix and chocolate chips. Lastly, my daughter helped me make our infamous Cornbread stuffing. Everyone seemed to have loved it! People brought many different foods and it was so nice.
It was a great day today, for me. I hope you all have just an amazing day as well!
