Thank GOD for another year around the Sun!!

Had a great day! Started it off by getting my Birthday Starbucks drink with my son when I took him to work.

After I got back home, my daughter and I went to Brunch at a local cafe called “Honey Greens Cafe.” They have the BEST avocado toast! They have really great food, but I LOVE their avocado toast. For dinner, my kids took me, along with my fiance, to dinner and paid for it! Went to one of my favorite places, Acapulco Restaurant and Cantina. ALWAYS such delicious food there. It had been quite awhile since the 4 of us all went out together and it was really nice.

It was truly a great day! ❤

Keith knew I was quite impressed with Oscar de la Hoya, so he took me to the Olympic Grand Auditorium to see him. The only GOOD pic I was able to get was this one, LOL. All the inside pics were too dark and blurry and he, de la Hoya, was too far from us. OH YES, and Power 106 was there as well. That’s my husband with his back to me. He was carrying our daughter as I was snapping flicks, LOL

I woke up early to take my son to work, and knew I had a car service appointment a few hours later, so instead of waiting, I drove straight to the dealership to see if I could get in sooner.

My daughter picked me up, I ran an errand with her, then we made it home. I am back at the dealership as I wait for my car. I had my daughter drive me up here so I could wait, in case she and her boyfriend had things to do today.

I have to get a new alternator belt for one and the other service I need is the brake fluid, drain it, etc. A total of just over $600. SHIIIIIT!!

I’m doing the most important thing, alternator belt, financing through Sunbit. Pretty cool service. Pay a down payment then pay a certain amount for however many months work for you. I wasn’t expecting that expense, but in all honesty, I should always expect some expense with a car, and then be pleasantly surprised when and if there is no expense, right?

I LOVE my car, a 2010 Toyota Venza. I bought it in 2013, and it’s been a great car!! I bought it with 30,000+ miles on it, now it has over 100,000 miles on it and it keeps on keeping on! I’m so happy with Toyota! So…. Now I’m at the dealership for another hour and a half or so, but it’s ok, I have my laptop AND my iPad with me 😊👍😊👍.
